“The Day” – If what they say about rain on your wedding day being lucky is just something to calm a nervous bride’s nerves, what they really need to say is that it creates a warm, cozy, intimate atmosphere the way only Mother Nature can. Because that, I’m thoroughly convinced is absolutely true, as the weekend of March 4th has plainly proven.  In fact, many parts of our beautiful city of Houston (Texas) were floored or had high water levels. But that didn’t stop our beautiful and brave bride this past weekend! Her dream wedding was to be outside in a beautiful field of trees, lit by candle lights.

 

So, that is “Exactly” what happened. The rain came, the field was soaked and all the cars were slipping. Nevertheless, we made it happen and it was a beautiful wedding. We tell every client to stick to your plan. Rain or shine can be beautiful!
