The Day– Eugene and Lakeisha had an elegant wedding at La Fontaine Reception Hall in Houston, Texas. I didn’t have the chance to meet in person with Eugene and Lakeisha prior to their wedding, as I usually prefer to do with all my clients. We only had exchanged few emails and had spoken on the phone.
From the moment we met, we realized we had met before when we all use to live in Maryland, so technically they are repeat clients of mine from my previous business. Small world! These two practically became like family for us throughout the night. You can also tell the character of someone by the company they keep and this bridal party was nothing short of awesome. It was a great wedding to be a part of and witness! Having their entire wedding day in one location was also a special treat for me since it means that we don’t have to factor in any travel time in the middle of photos (so more time for pictures!) and I can unload everything just once. And a location like La Fontaine Reception Hall never disappoints.
I loved photographing there and working with the staff there. I had so many beautiful backdrops for the detail photos, from the elegant decorations throughout the venue. I adore shooting details, but especially when I have space and background for them!
