We’re Called ELITE For A Reason!

“Elite” by definition is a select part of a group that is superior to the rest in terms of ability or qualities. We understand how important it is to capture every moment of your special day, as you will be sharing your wedding images with your friends and family for the rest of your life, and will work with you to ensure an elite experience where you get images that are exactly what you want and need. At Elite Photography TX, we pride ourselves in offering services that exceed & goes far beyond our client’s expectations.
We can guarantee an elite experience to each one of our clients.

What Makes Us Elite?

  • 1. Style

When you start planning your wedding, immediately start looking at several wedding photographers. Look at their websites, the style they represent in their images. Photographers use a variety of cameras and lenses to create the effects that make up their style. Is their style photojournalistic? traditional? contemporary?

At Elite Photography TX have two style methods “Photojournalistic and Contemporary.” Remember the style is very important when choosing because you will have these images forever, and they can’t be taken again. We are extremely proud of what we can do for our clients because we have invested into the right equipment, lighting, modifiers, etc. to create a fantastic experience for YOU so that your images will look AMAZING!

The images should show the emotion and beauty of your wedding, not just snapshots that any Uncle could take.

  •

  • 2. Personality

The second most important aspect of choosing a photographer is his/her personality. You absolutely have to “like” your photographer, because you are going to spend your entire wedding day with him/her.

A good photographer can not only just photograph your wedding, but provide direction and guidance so that he makes sure he gets the best and most beautiful shots.

Our Team at Elite Photography will not be intrusive but still be confident to keep the action moving along. We will be able to hang out with you and your whole family the entire day. If you’re not comfortable with your photographer, it will show in your images.

  • 3. Experience

So you have a family friend that has a basic digital camera that takes some nice snapshots of your kids and pets, and this person in willing to photograph your wedding for $100? Great.

But what if this person’s camera breaks? Do they have backup equipment?
Does he/she know how to work with a tight timeline?
Does he/she have the correct equipment to shoot in a low-light situation?
Does he/she know how to “save” a photo after the fact?
Does he/she know how to shoot in a way that hides imperfections of the venue?
Does he/she know how to backup files safely?
SO MANY things that can and do go wrong on even the most organized wedding days, if someone is not equipped to shoot weddings, you could end up with once in a lifetime memory lost or ruined.

The photographer you choose should have an established business and be able to show you several weddings in their portfolio.

WE HAVE 15 YEARS OF PROFESSIONAL FIRST-CLASS SERVICE LOCALLY OWNED AND OPERATED—NOT A NATIONAL CHAIN STUDIO. We have a great depth of knowledge about what types of equipment, and what camera settings needed to produce a certain image. For instance, something that my clients request quite often are images where the subject is clear but the background is very blurry. This is called bokeh. And this isn’t something that an auto setting on your camera would naturally do. In order to achieve this look it requires a specific type of lens and correct camera settings.

  • 4. Products

Some photographers offer packages, while others will offer their products a la carte. When choosing your photographer, be sure to get a complete price list so you can see exactly what you are buying.
Does the photographer offer all day coverage or just a certain amount of hours?
Do you want the images on a DVD so you can make you own prints, or are you forced to order prints directly from the photographer?
Are all the Images Edited/Color corrected and provide at no additional fee?
There are an endless amount of options and you need to decide what products you want and which ones you can live without.

We provide all clients with a PRINT-RELEASE with all edited images on CD-ROM that allows you to print up to 8×10 portraits.

  • 5. Budget

The LAST thing you want to do is go budget shopping for a photographer. Wedding photography is definitely one type of business that uses the old adage, “you get what you pay for.” Photographers spend thousands of hours learning and honing their art, just like any specialized service.

Therefore, a good quality photographer is not going to come cheap. Believe it or not, the majority of the time spent with your photos is the time spent working on them AFTER the event. Most photographers spend a minimum of 40+ hours editing 8-10 hours worth of coverage! Some have said that photography services should involve up to 20-30% of the wedding budget. After all, it is the way you can relive the moment and cherish upon.

If you are willing to sacrifice some of the small things that eat away at wedding budgets, you may just be able to hire that perfect photographer. Flowers die, the cake gets eaten, the dress goes in the closet- but your photos last forever. It’s worth the price!
If you have found that Elite Photography TX is the perfect photographer, but we are out of your price range, ask for a custom package to make it work for you.

  • 6. Clients First

Elite Photography TX has certain aspects of our business in place to ensure that you are protected. If something goes wrong, we usually will do everything in our power to fix it. This is where the presence of a contract comes into play. A wedding contract is very important because it not only protects the photographer, but it protects you from faulty business practices.
At Elite Photography TX we always require a Retainer fee when the contract is signed to ensure your day is completely booked.
